Went out the whole day o.O
Anyway,
I'll like to share today church's sermon, preached by Pastor Alvin @ wesley church and also what i learnt from SF @ MHI, was leaded by Lynette babe.

Church's sermon today
Romans 10:14-15

(v.14) How, then can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
(v.15) And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news !"

1. Conversion does not happen by chance.
How will they believe in Him if they don't hear any preaching, nor believing Him in the first place?
- 2 types of preaching in church
1. Traditional ways (CDC, COSC, missions & W & E)
2. Non-traditional ways ("Just walk around the room" & Sports Wesley Ministry)

2. Reasons why people don't accept Christ.
- They have met a Christian
- They have not met a Christian

3. Evangelism is designed for the whole church.
How are they able to preach?
- By sending messages
(What it means?)
We people need messengers to send messages, similar to: Pastors preaching His word every service to us
A bigger role: Our responsibility to send someone out in the field.
1. Evangelism is a process - begins with conversion and never end
2. Front-end evangelism (to win) & Back-end evangelism (to build)
Back-end evangelism - 1. Be the community for the converts
2. The Third Place
The church plays a bigger role but we usually think that is only for professionals. But that is not true !!

What's missing from church today?
- Limited concept of evangelism
Everyone is the witness, not only the professionals.
No one turns into a Christian after somewhere like school that we preach His word.
Being a new convert, which needs to have a 'church' to receive them, means that when you wants to be a convert of God. Surely, you want to know more about His word.
Do it by going service every week and listen to pastor's preachings.
These also needs time to adpat.

Conclusion:
What must I do today?
1. Change in mindset - doing a better job
2. Resolving to be involved - making time for it (more than going to church & do necessary things)

Don't ever stop sharing His word with others. No harm doing that, even when someone points a gun at you. The gospel is being shared, like refreshing our minds or letting the new converts know You more.

SF - The Church is the Body of Christ
From Acts 1:8-11 & 1 Corinthians 12:12,13, 27.

Do you know where is the body of Jesus Christ today?
1. Body of Christ - 1 Corinthians 12:12-13
2. We people are the parts of the body of Jesus Christ - 1 Corinthians 12:27
How to contribute to our church as one body of Christ?
Be united together, have the team spirit.


That's all what i've learnt today.
I'm glad that i managed to focus on the sermon and SF today, even though i had bad times for the past 2 weeks.
I hope every week is in this way.
So that, i can commit fully to Him and know Your word.

Dear Father in Heaven,

I thank God for this great day that i managed to know You more !
I pray for wisdom and strength as i start a new week and also in my revision.
I also pray for myself, time management between things and studies - otherwise, naggings are here again.
I pray for everyone to have strength, wisdom and guidance in everything they do.
I pray for everyone including myself to have a peaceful and calm week ahead and we'll meet again during weekends.
In Jesus's name.
